Dr. Michelle Jhagroo
Originally from New York, Dr. Michelle D. Jhagroo completed her Bachelor’s degree at Nova Southeastern University followed by her Doctorate of Optometry at InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. She began her career working in all aspects of an Optometry practice, from front desk/technician to optician, and became Practice Manager at a private optometric practice prior to Optometry School. Since graduation, she’s been practicing in the South Florida area and, also, works with the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind/Heiken Foundation providing exams at schools throughout Florida.
While she’s been in practice since 2018, she has experience in Eye Care since 2002. Her knowledge in all facets of Private Practice Optometry contribute to her ability to provide services such as Primary Eyecare, Contact Lenses, Myopia Control, Refractive and Cataract Surgery Co-Management, Dry Eye Management, Glaucoma Management, Ocular Disease, Pediatric and Geriatric Optometry.
She enjoys travel, spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, attending sporting events, an eclectic mix of music, movies, trivia, and certainly knows her way around the kitchen. Dr. Michelle speaks English and Spanish.
